Cheering Caty

Hey everyone I sure hope your enjoying this wonderful day that we have, it is 73 degrees an sun shinning out side here on the Treasure Coast of Florida.  Love the weather this time of year.
Today I want to post an image that I won in a contest over at LeAnn'sWorld101.  Her name is Cheering Caty and she reminds me of my gran daughter Reese who loves Cheer leading so this will be a card for her.

I colored her with my copics and mounted her on a dark pink card base.  the layer is a purple with a hint towards blue so thought it looked pretty good on there.  The outfits is colored in Red Violets and the stars on the chipboard surrounding the image are also colored in Red violets.  I love how she turned out.  The floor is not in the original image I drew that in myself.  The background on the image is done with eye shadow from the dollar store then sprayed with hair spray to keep it from coming off.
I do hope you like it.
If you want to purchase this image  or check out the other sweet images on The LeAnn'sWorld 101 Esty store the link for you to do that is here.   She has some lovely images to choose from so grab your drink and go cruising in the cyber world of LeAnn.

So till next time Happy Crafting all.

Raina in Green

Hi everyone I know I posted this image earlier but I wanted to show you what she would look like in a different color.  It is amazing to me just what you can do with the same image colored differently and what a different type of card you can make.  This is not made into a card yet and I may add a pic of it later but now sure at this point.  I have plenty to color for my design teams for April and want to finish all those first so I know they are completed on time.
But since Green is my favorite color I wanted to do her in Green as well and to show you that.  So without further ado here is Raina in Green
This image is just so beautiful I will use it again and again.  Always different colors and different type of cards so noone really knows or realizes it is the same image.  (Yep that's how I roll, LOL)
You can find this image in the Esty shop for LeAnn'sWorld101 here.  You should get your cup of whatever your drinking and spend some time cruising the store to see what she has to offer,  I promise you won't be disappointed.
I also want to invite you to come play along with us on Facebook as well and get some great inspiration there for the sweet images you will be buying.  See what the design team comes up with for the images in the shop.  It is inspirational for me to see the different cards done with the same image, so it may help you as well.
Well Ladies it is time for me to get back to coloring my images for April design teams.  Have a wonderful day and a great week as well.  Hope to see you all on the Facebook page for LeAnn'sWorld101!!!

Kaitie by LeAnnsWorld101

Hi everyone one,

I want to introduce you to a new artist  LeAnn, and her shop is called LeAnnsWorld101 in the Esty Market Place.  She has a bunch of wonderful images in her shop so far and has many more to add to it.  She is new to the digi world an she is a wonderful artist.
I can announce now that I have been invited to be on her design team and this will be my first posting for her.  She also has a facebook page as well where she gave away a freebie image that was wonderful.  I happen to find her through a friend on facebook posting that wonderful image colored.  I had to have it so I joined the group and colored it as well for the contest they had going.  Unfortunately that image is no longer free but it is in the shop to purchase.  I know anyone who loves digital images will love this new artist.  So here is my creation with the image that I purchased in her shop just before I became a Design Team member.

Isn't she just the sweetest image you have seen in a long time.  I love how she turned out and one of my favorite colors is Red so of course I had to do her in Red.  I colored her with copics and mounted her to a new die cut that I got at Ali Express.  This die cut is proving to be one of my favorites.  I wanted t keep the card simple and let the image be the main focus.
This card will be used for a special birthday card for a special lady.
I hope you will come join the facebook group to see all the new and exciting inspiration that we have for you.  Lots of wonderful ladies have joined already and I am personally inviting you to come join too.  Lets get these images out there an known so all can enjoy them.  The facebook page address is here.  Please come join in the fun...

So till the next release Happy Crafting to you all.

Design Team Member LeAnnsWorld101
PS. this image here is the one that was the freebie and you can purchase her in the store.

Strawberry Girl on 2 Barrels

Good Morning to everyone.  I hope you have your morning Joe or tea or what ever you drink and have come to look around for a few minutes.   I appreciate it that you come to spend a few minutes of your precious time with me on my crafting blog.
Today is my day to remind you all of the challenge over at Sherri Baldy Scrapbook Stamp Society Blog.  I had a lot of fun with my image this time.  I have made several cards with it and this is the one that I love the most and hope you will like her too.  So without further ado here she is.
Golly I just love this beautiful image . It really can be used for so many occasions and I left off the sentiment till I decide who and what I will use it for.  I do have a few that I won't send to people because I can't give them up and this my just be one of those.  I colored her with copics and the leaf swirl is a new die cut I just got and fell in love with so had to use it on this image.  The two flowers are from a shimmer paper and a punch that I have.  The background paper is from Heartfelt Creations and one I have very little left of and it is older paper an not sure I can find it again.  So I hoard it and only use it for special images.  You can find the challenge here:
You have till the end of the month and it is Anything goes so come on down and join the fun.
You can find all Sherri's images here so go take a look and get some of the coolest images you have ever seen.
So till next time you all have a wonderful day and the rest of the week.

Old Lady Big Egg Hunt #2062

Hi everyone and I sure hope your having a wonderful day.  It is sunny an bright here today and I love the sun.  I don't mean to tease you all that are having your winter and it is cold and dreary with snow and no sun.  If that is the case grab a cup of coffee or tea and spend some time cruising my blog and let me  put a smile on your face.
Today is release day for a new Sandra Caldwell Stamp.  She is called Old Lady Big Egg Hunt #2062 and you can find her in the Esty shop here.   She has some wonderful images to choose from so take your time and have a look at all the fun images.  Sandra is a wonderful artist and spends lots of time drawing.  I am in awe of her as I can't draw a straight line and envy anyone who can draw.
So here is the image for me to release for you this month.
Isn't she just adorable?  She will be my Easter card for my grand daughter so one down more to go.  I colored her with my copics and experimented with my new die cut and got this fab frame from it.  The funky stripe paper is one that my sister gave me years ago and it was perfect for this image.  No other embellishment was needed.  I sure hope you like my sweet little lady.  We have a facebook page that you can post your cards on and get to know  all the wonderful members there so come join our facebook family as well.
So till next time have a wonderful day.

Old Lady Angel

Good Morning to you all.
Today is a new release for Sandra Caldwell stamps from Babycakesdnd.  I have to admit this one was so much fun to color and come up with a sentiment for.  My girlfriend and I were cruising facebook and found a good one for her.  I changed the wording a bit but still the same meaning.  I hope you like her as much as I do.  So without further ado here she is. "Old Lady Angel"

Isn't  she just wonderful?  I colored her with copics and the wall is a new embossing folder I got at Tuesday Morning and I just went over it with some distress inks to bring out the design.
You can find her at the Esty shop here.

So ladies and Gents till next time Happy Crafting to you all.

Emma's Hat

Good afternoon to everyone.

I am posting for a challenge at SheepSki Design Challenges.  I just had to have this image when I was shopping at Andrea's store and decided to use it for the Anything goes Challenge this month.  I truly love images of ladies with hats on them, just can't resist them at all.  So this one I bought and printed this size and one in 5X7 to color and put in my Hat Lady journal and Yep got that too.

I think I might be just a bit addicted to the images of hats.  Anyway I colored this and did a few different flowers but fell in love with the black roses so that is what I used the smallest of the die cut flowers from Heartfelt creations.  Have I kept you in suspense long enough and do you want to see my latest creation?  Ok then I will show you.  Here she is. Emma's Hat by SheepSki Designs:  I added the green flourish for a pop of color to match her eyes.  I hope you like her as much as I do.  Thanks for stopping by to see my creation.

You can find the challenge here to play along it is Anything goes.  I hope you will come play along with us.

So till next time Happy Crafting all.

Old Lady Love Letter

Good morning to everyone.  I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday with their friends and family.  Things at my house were chaotic to say the least.  My hubby had back surgery on Dec. 21 so Christmas was put on hold till he got home.  Lots of running and little sleep for me but we made it through it.  He is home but not back to normal as of yet.  Progress has been slow but we are not 25 anymore.  I  haven't posted for a while as you can see.  I am trying to get caught up now. Enough about me and my family so on with the good stuff.

Today I am posting for Sandra Caldwell Stamps here:
Today or I should say the new release was January 12th (yep still a bit behind) and I am posting my image from the shop called "Old lady love letter" She is just adorable.  Here she is in all her glory.

You can find her and all the other images that Sandra has created in her shop from the link above.  I do hope you will go check out these wonderful images of hers.

I decided to make an easel card this time so the second one is showing that.  I colored her with copics and cut her out with a new die cut that I recently got.  I love how she turned out and hope you do as well.

Thanks for checking out my blog.
Have a great day and till next time Happy Crafting.

Christmas "Breeze"

Hey everyone I hope this post finds you all well and ready for Christmas as it is just a few days away.  Are you all ready?

I am posting today for Scrapbook Stamp Society and have chosen this wonderful image for a Christmas theme because I think she looks like Christmas Angle to me.  I was going to do her in white but thought that would be to bland so I chose some soft colors.  Something non traditional for sure.  She is a wonderful image that you can find in the Esty shop for Sherri Baldy here.
And I would like to invite you to come play along with us at the challenge as well and you can find that here
You have a chance to win some wonderful dig's stamps by Sherri.
I colored my image with copics and then mounted on the die cut that I made a hinged card out of.  She was pretty plain and I wanted bling on her so I hunted in my extensive stash till I came up with this one.  It seams to fit perfectly so this is what I used.  I then added some gems to different parts of the image to make it stand out.  Even though it is Christmas I wanted the word Love on there as that is what Christmas means to me.
So everyone Merry Christmas and since this is the last card for the year with Scrapbook Stamp Society I want to wish everyone a Very Happy New Year as well.  Stay safe and be  happy.

Till Next year Happy Crafting

Hi Everyone I want to wish each and everyone visiting my blog this week a Very Merry Christmas!

It is a very busy time of year for all of us and I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and check out my corner of the world.
So today I am posting for Scrapbook Stamp Society and our Christmas Images.  This image caught my eye as I wanted to see how I could make the snow sparkle for this image and I know you can't see it as well on the compute as you can in real life but I think I nailed it!  So here is my Selection for the Christmas Image. You can find this image in the Esty Shop by Sherri Baldy here.

Now isn't she just wonderful.  I love Sherri's images they are so adorable.  I used this card for my Christmas swap but my swap partner hasn't gotten it as I am posting this early so I don't know if she liked it or not.  My guess is she did, I know I would love it.  I have to make several more of these for some special people on my list.  I have a few of my Christmas cards made already but need lots more.  (now remember I am posting this earlier then December)  I do tend to get behind but swore this year I would be done on time.  I am almost to my goal so I am doing good.
I colored her with copis and for the snow to make them sparkle and look like it could be drifted I used Viva Pearl white pan and Glitter to make it sparkle.  Like I said you really can't see it on here though.    The bells I did with a silver pen and the snow flakes are cut with a cheap snowflake punch.  The holly is also a very small punch but thought it would look nice on here for some embellishments. My background paper is some I got from Michael's last year after Christmas on sale.  Love those sales and sure won' t have to go this year.
I do hope you will come play along in our Christmas Challenge here

Come on down to to our Facebook page and play along and you can get plenty of inspiration there as well.
So to you all Merry Christmas again an we will be back soon.
Happy Crafting all.
